Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time unified boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As the two fighters met for the customary face-off, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
