At the same time, approximately 1,000 households in Victoria also encountered energy failures after Melbourne recorded its most precipitation in over 500 days.
Rescue organizations received over five hundred emergency reports across the region, primarily for property damage but also for fallen timber and inundation.

At one point on yesterday, over 28k power users in the state were lacking electricity.
Weather Forecast
Damp conditions were predicted to continue along much of Queensland's east this next several days as a weather pattern continued to attract humidity against the coastal areas.
Tomorrow was expected to become the wettest day, with continued storm activity predicted across different parts of both regions.
Medical Alert
Health officials warned that there was an greater possibility of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the northern rural areas, especially given the ongoing climate situation.
This alert comes after previous incidents where comparable situations led to major medical consequences in the area.
